Salmantika Syllabus

Salmantika svartiskóli is a system of teaching the “fornan fróðleik” or the ‘ancient arts’, which is referred to within European witchcraft as the Arts of Occult Knowledge. This means that our school is not dedicated solely and exclusively to the study or development of martial currents, saturnine, destructive processes or baleful magic, but explores in essence, all the hidden wisdoms of magic that in other schools could be considered taboo, this is the true meaning of a school of Black Arts, a place where the forbidden wisdom is found, the first motto of the school is:

Omnium occultas scientiarum princeps Salmantika docet
Principles of all occult sciences are taught in Salmantika

Our teaching system is divided into nine main levels which in turn are divided into three triads. Each triad is composed of three levels outlining the main system of the Salmantika syllabus. The study period of each level consists of one month of development, where each student will receive direct classes once a week, that is, each level will be studied for a month with 4 classes attended learning the information concerned apart from additional time to resolve doubts and questions.

After completing three levels or a triad, there will be a month of exams to evaluate what has been learned. This implies that the learning process at Salmantika consists of a full year, 9 months of classes and 3 months of exams. The system presented may be rigorous or intensive for some students, this is why we expect to receive students with greater willpower, drive and engery, since the learning process demands great determination, the second motto of the school is:

Quod natura non dat, Salmantika non præstat
What nature does not give, Salmantika does not bestow.

This means that our school cannot give to anyone what nature has denied him or her, and therefore the advancement of each student depends solely and exclusively on his or her natural talent and abilities, which will be exploited to the maximum within the school.
